Md. Kabirul Islam is 38 years 0ld. Owner of Kabirul Engineering Workshop. MSME-0002116, Mobile no 01716403275. Rail gate, Madhukhali Upazila, Faridpur. His wife has a son, a daughter and mother his family. About 28 years of experience in lathe machine operations. Managing the Workshop himself for 20 years. In eight years he worked in this workshops and learned to work by side. Then he established himself with the help of his family and setup Kabirul Engineering Workshop. He worked on the repair work of jute mill, sugar mill, agriculture engine service, machine tools making. Earlier he was working in a risky environment without any security. The workshop place was very small, risky to work, it was almost accidental environment, and he realized that this were risks to be a major accident, then after complete Decent Work Training, He was motivated to receive the training of PROGRESS.  he expanded his workshop, created open environment, used electric switch socket, workshop floor make it ripe, made natural light-air, LED lights, as well as made space for stocking, sorting, according to importance arrange,  clean up,  carry quality,  and maintain them with a sustain. Spend around one lakh taka for the sort of workshop. He whole heartedly tried to practice decent work in his workshop. Kabirul Islam thinks that he has a lot of profits in implementing all these things in his workshop. Are benefited  1. Increasing customer attraction, 2. Workers are able to work safely, 3. Accidents are decreasing, 4. Financial gains,  5.earning customer satisfaction. Kabirul said that Decent Work training through PROGRESS has improved greatly. Kabirul said he did not know much, worked on unknown mistakes. Now he has been able to solve many problems through training. He has been able to solve his mistakes, Has been able to create a safe work environment, so thank you In this PROGRESS programme. I have to face a lot of challenges- 1. like work wage is less, 2. less then factory work, 3.season-based work, 4.when this is no working season i have to stay in unemployed. My benefit after implementation decent work currently my monthly income is 30 to 35  thousand taka, Every month my profit is over 20 thousand taka. He has a dream a big production workshop in light engineering sector.
